D.            PROCLAMATIONS, RECOGNITIONS, APPOINTMENTS:

1.         Proclamation Proclaiming April 8-14, 2001, as Corning City Police and Fire Dispatchers Week.

E. BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR:  If there is anyone in the audience wishing to speak on items not already set on the Agenda, please come to the podium, give your name and address, and briefly identify the matter you wish to have placed on the Agenda. The Council will then determine if such matter will be placed on the Agenda for this meeting, scheduled for a subsequent meeting, or recommend other appropriate action. If the matter is placed on tonight's Agenda, you will have the opportunity later in the meeting to return to the podium to discuss the issue. The law prohibits the Council from taking formal action on the issue, however, unless it is placed on the Agenda for a later meeting so that interested members of the public will have a chance to appear and speak on the subject.

F. CONSENT AGENDA: It is recommended that items 2 through 12 be acted on simultaneously unless separate discussion and or action are requested by a Councilmember or a member of the audience.

2.         Waive reading, except by title, of any Ordinance under consideration at this meeting for either introduction or passage, per Government

Code Section 36934.

3.         Waive the Reading and Approve the Minutes of February 27 and March 13, 2001, with any necessary corrections.

4.         Claim Warrant, April 10, 2001 - $259,664.07.

5.         Treasurer's Report on Investments, March, 2001.

6.         Wages and Salaries for the Month of March, 2001 - $160,725.16.

7.         Building Permits for the Month of March, 2001 - $295,799.00.

8.         Seeking Council Approval for City Partial Refund to Ted Taylor for Building Permit No.10219.

9.         Salary Adjustments for Part-Time City Positions, Meter Reader and Police Community Service Officer.

10.       Assignment of Metcalf & Eddy Contract for Cleanup at Dudley/Petty Pollution Site.

11.       New Business License Report.

12.       ECO Resources, Inc. Wastewater Operations Summary Report, March, 2001.
