Yost Park is located next to Third Street, between North Street and Tehama Street in northeast Corning. This park consists of a baseball/softball feild with a dirt infield and grass outfield. The field is equipped with dugouts, a back-stop with a 20 foot fence, and grandstands with a seating capacity of 500. The field has a home run fence and a scoreboard. Under the grandstands, behind the field are restrooms, a storage room, and a concession booth. Along both baselines is a fence extending out to the home run fence with gates located next to the dugout.

 

To the west of the field is a parking lot. The lot is accessbile from Tehama Street and through an alley from Colusa Street. To the east of the field is a play area for children containing 5 pieces of play equipment. Located along the south side of the park are picnic tables with some tables on the west end of the field. There are 5 garbage containers at the park and 2 drinking fountains. The grandstands directly behind home plate are covered, while the 2 on either side of the field are not. This park is approximately 2.57 acres.
