Estil Clark Park
Estil Clark Park Map

Estil Clark Park is located in the southeast quadrant of the City of Corning. It is accessible to vehicle traffic by way of Fig Lane. This is the only route that accesses the park. There is currently no development to the east or south of the park. To the north is a continuing high school facility and to the west is a mobile home park. The park is well lit at night.

The park consists of ten (10) acres. Located at this facility is a concrete surface tennis court area with two (2) courts. The nets are chain link fence material which is very durable.

To the north of the tennis courts are four (4) horseshoe pits. They have regulation stakes, sand pits, and rebound boards at each pit. The pits are located in an isolated area and surrounded by small trees to the west and south. The parking lot is located to the east of the horseshoe pits. To the west of the horseshoe pits is an access road which runs along the western boarder of the park.

To the south of the tennis courts is a large grass play area with a softball/baseball diamond and an open space field used for football and soccer. The field is equipped with lights that are engineered for the softball/baseball diamond only. On both sides of the field are picnic tables and garbage cans. The north side of the field is equipped with a barbecue grill.

Located in the east of the ball field is a small access area and rodeo grounds. This facility is used primarily for junior rodeo events and activities.

An additional softball/baseball field is located north of the rodeo grounds (map labels the field “Unimproved Area”).

Located in the middle of the park is a service building. This consists of restrooms, a small room for tools and controls for the irrigation system, and a large storage room used by groups to store their equipment. This building can be used for concession purposes at events and games. Next to the service building are two drinking fountains.

The park has a large parking lot capable of holding approximately 300 automobiles, however, the spaces are not lined and parking is not oriented in an organized method. There is one bicycle rack at the park that can hold twelve (12) bikes.
